MayDay!MayDay! Event in Morro Bay, CA/SanLuisObispo County May 1

Thursday, May 1, 2008

MayDay! MayDay! Calling all SLO disgruntled citizens to come the aid of your country! Meet at high noon at the corner of Morro Bay Blvd. & Harbor Street to march in solidarity with strikers and citizens in natiowide MayDay events. We must insist upon a government that protects its citizens against out of control corporate exploitation, endless war, the usurpation of the Constitution, government corruption--pick your gripe. Close business/don’t go to work. Join patriots of every flavor--longshoremen, business owners, veterans, letter-carriers, students, labor groups and workers in general, in sending a clear message to the current--and especially, the incoming--administration that we want accountability now and an end to government corruption. A government of, by and for the people can’t happen if the people don’t express themselves. Locally, call Shawn at 772-3056 or go to: www.democrats.com/mayday or www.downingstreet.org. Join us! Save America, Democracy and the world…and spread the word to one and all! If you’re not outraged—you’re not paying attention!

Please plan on participating or organizing an event in your area. MayDay is the PERFECT day for citizen action.
