Local Editorials Reject Bush's Torture

It's been 5 days since ABC News revealed Bush approved torture. Yet the nation's leading newspapers - the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Miami Herald, etc. - have yet to publish an editorial.

But some smaller papers are finally speaking up, according to Dan Froomkin. These include the Kansas City Star, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Brattleboro (Vt.) Reformer, and Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News

If your paper hasn't published an editorial yet condemning Bush's approval of torture, call the editor and demand to know why not. And if you don't like the answer you get, tell the editor you're cancelling your subscription.
