THE MEDIA CONSPIRACY MUST BE CHALLENGED AND STOPPED ONLY A FEDERAL LAWSUIT CAN REMEDY THE MEDIA The official act by an elected Representative of filing Articles of Impeachment mandated by the United States Constitution, Article II Section 4, is a very rare and important event. The failure by the mainstream broadcasting media to report this official act has prevented the public’s right to be informed on an issue that imperils the democracy by preventing the freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment. The potential controversy expected by an impeachment process is now completely missing while not one of the five (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and CNN) broadcasters have mentioned the Articles of Impeachment official filing on April 23, 2007. Precedent statements by the Supreme Court demands litigation such as, “It is the right of the viewers and listeners, not the right of the broadcasters, which is paramount….It is the right of the public to receive suitable access to social, political, esthetic, moral, and other ideas and experiences which is crucial here.” The Fairness Doctrine safeguarded the public’s right to be informed on issues affecting democracy, while also balancing broadcaster’s rights to the broadest possible editorial discretion. When broadcasters conspire to prevent the public from being informed on an issue that affects democracy, specifically the impeachment of the Vice President for purposely manipulating incorrectly the intelligence used to preemptively attack Iraq and misuse his media power to lead America into war -- a vivid line needs to be drawn. To draw this line, only a federal lawsuit can be the remedy. The body of law that is necessary to convince the court that this media conspiracy exists, in fact, needs to be read and analyzed correctly. Then a complaint must be filed. The work load required to read 1st Amendment cases that will establish the rule of law necessary to prevent the media companies from summarily having its case dismissed will consume time. The case must survive to the deposition phase to establish the evidence that the defendants conspired to prevent the public from knowing that Articles of Impeachment were in fact filed on April 23, 2007. The job of getting to that hurdle is critical. From that point of deposing the editors and producers who conspired to prevent the public from being informed will be easy. If the impeachment blackout was an actual coincidence and not a conspiracy, the defendants would be eager to be deposed to set the record straight. After all it is the stock in trade of each media company to have its audience believe they are hearing the truth even if the truth is not “fair and balanced” and even if the news is not “fit to print”.

PELOSI’S SCHEME FOR POLITICAL ADVANTAGE 

Speaker Pelosi’s favorite line is, “We have to build a record.”  With that in mind she refuses to allow any investigation in conjunction with the specific acts contained in H Res 333, the Articles of Impeachment.  Building a record is impossible without any investigation.  This is a simple contradiction on its face that no one is presenting either to Pelosi for an answer or to present for public discord. 

When a person contradicts themselves that must mean there is a hidden agenda.  Pelosi wants to prevent any record from being built that involves any impeachable crime under the Constitution.  Pelosi wants to claim that even if the House votes to impeach Cheney first, the Senate will never cast the required number of votes to remove Cheney from office.  While anything is possible, the facts that surface from an investigation might be so overwhelming that no Senator will jeopardize his political career by voting against the removal of Cheney from office.  The vote might be unanimous to remove Cheney.

Pelosi’s scheme would be self destructive if reporters began to question her crazy contradiction.  Unfortunately, people just accept her premise that regardless of the outcome from an impeachment investigation, Pelosi knows how the Senate will vote.  That prediction is never questioned and the results will never be known if Pelosi is allowed to prevent the Constitutional obligation to investigate the specific indictment contained in H Res 333.

Pelosi’s scheme completely disregards the cost in lives and money to keep Bush & Cheney as Commander in Chief of our military force in Iraq.  Her scheme is to be able to blame them throughout the 2008 election campaign for a political advantage.  She believes her nefarious scheme will elect Democrats to power again the way it did in 2006. 

In light of the betrayal for not opposing the war, the primary reason Democrats were elected in 2006, her political advantage is likely to backfire if there is a progressive movement for a major primary slaughter of incumbent Democrats.  As a part of the drum beat to impeach Cheney first, progressives need to undress the Pelosi phony scheme to build a record by preventing any investigation mandated by H Res 333. 

Dear Madam Speaker of the house,

There is a record.
It Skips.
Maybe you need a new record player.

Count me in on impechment of Bush and Cheney.
They are the most corrupt in any of American history.

IMPEACHMENT is the only way to bring our country back from the evil-doers!

If you think Dems will gain a political advantage by keeping impeachment of Cheney and Bush off the table.  Perhaps you should be removed from office by voters because you did not honor your oath to protect our Constitution. SHAME ON YOU. This is about America and the future of our Democracy not the future of your party.

Not just impeach but try before a court of law for profiting from a war which they have the power to declair. How can we trust them when our job is done over in the sandbox and when is it just being drug on for profit sake. That's $100.00 less than Edwards pays for a haircut.(yeah your'e for the working class-right) If you would ever watch Oprah and you probablly have you will notice that her audience seems hand picked and appear to be like the "Stepford Wifes" all dressed in expensive clothes and all those accessories. You don't see people like that on Letterman, Leno, Ferguson.etc. She caters to the upper class and gives to the poor. Her "favorite things" should be helping out the poor not giving them cashmiere sweaters.You might as well bring your real estate buddy Tony Resko with you as well. Remember Tony don't you? He's the guy who gave you those sweetheart real estate deals in Chicago. When are you going to come clean on that? Hillary has the experience and you just can't click your heals three times and get experience Sen. Obama. What is Oprah going to do, hand out Fois Gras to your supporters? You took pac money too. I'm remindeded of a saying in the Godfather part 3 where Michael Corleone tells one of his people to tell his enemy, "Power destroys people that don't have any" No experience does also. This is one tough woman. Don't you think she's been through this before? Your health plan looks watered down and unfinished. Obama fight the clean fight you told America you would fight.You want to bring up Monica o.k., 80 % of people getting married end in divorced and Hillarys' still married.Remember power and lack of experience destroys people that don't have any.As far as the republicans this is better than a good comedy. You have Rudy who used 9/11 as a photo op mostly although he did help NYC, but ask the real heros of 9/11 and they never went on the talk show circut.Any assertation that Rudy has cleaned up the alledged outfit in New York is a joke and Rudy knows it.Why he and Mitt have been endorsed by the evangilican far right, or as I prefer to say , people making a buck of Christ and visit their pages in Congress and public bathroom encounters. In short the very things they claim they are against. Sen. Obama, be yourself debate the issues and quit the personal attacks on Hillary because of course you want to change Washington. Yep you and Resko haven't changed and it will be more of the same. Fess up and have Oprah buy you a $300.00 desert. Should you continue this watered down health care plan and attacks on Hillary that are senseless you may have trouble in Illinois. The electoral votes, election and getting re elected because you are comming accross as too brash and people remeber that. Romney Hillary hasn't owned a country store, but her parents didn't hand her a trust fund either and you are wasting your own money on your own campaign. Give it to charity or have fois gras with Oprah.

I was first a Bush supporter, but now after 7 years of bad decisions, the guy needs to go and take abou 70 senators and 250 rep. with him too. That the problem with impeaching someone on policies, their several hundred that needs to go with him. It's nice to think that we are safe with a Democrat in the White house next year - but criminals are still holding the world hostage and keeping us under the thumb of tyranny. I only takes a second to push the button and begin a nuclear war that would precipitate a "State of Emergency" that would allow Bush to suspend elections and impose martial law - thus tearing the last threads of the republic and beginning the begining of the empire.
