Impeachment Rallies from Coast to Coast This Sunday
A coalition of organizations in support of the impeachment and removal from office of President Bush and Vice President Cheney will hold forums, rallies, and other events in towns and cities across the United States on Sunday, December 10, Human Rights Day. A forum in New York City will kick things off on Saturday, December 9.
The purpose of the events is to organize people to lobby their Congress Members for investigations and impeachment and to lobby their local and state governments for resolutions in support of impeachment. Dozens of cities have already passed such resolutions:

Iraq Study Group Report A Coverup?
Hey Bob,
Here's something to ponder...
The Iraq study group report, which dominated the news on Wednesday with the
alleged revelation that the politics of George W. Bush in the Middle East
are not working, just as the day before Robert Gates' Senate confirmation
hearings dominated the news with his admission that the U.S. is losing the
war in Iraq, are both part of an orchestrated campaign to provide political
cover for one of the most corrupt governments in the history of democracy
and to keep public interest and media coverage away from key issues that
face the planet.
And once again, the complete lack of understanding of the issues on the part
of the U.S. news media is part of the problem, not the solution.

The Federal Government In Wash Has Become An Island
John Kennedy used to talk about the
imprisoned Island Nation in Cuba and now
we could apply that language to our
inability to move the masses domestically and internationally.
Our government in Washington D.C. has become a vast fantasy land talking about Bush's goals in Iraq and how
the Iraq Study Group is going to save the
day. We have lost touch with the real world and Iraq is the icing on the cake with a War in Iraq of which we live in the Greenzone and outside the Greenzone
we fight the insurgents, the terrorists,
the bad guys, the former Bathists,
foreign fighters, the list is endless.
The main question is who does Bush approve to run the country?
Exactly!
People talk about Bush being in a bubble- the entire congress is in a bubble. Anyone remember when Murtha and Moran had that town hall meeting last year, and a young gal asked them about the $2.3 TRillion missing at the Pentagon... and they laughed her off- ha ha, silly girl, you must mean Billions... they don't even know basic facts bloggers have been discussing for years.
That's why we need to put the heat on Congress- to wake them up.
United for Peace and Justice has organized another Saturday afternnon march… anyone think it’ll accomplish anything? Of course not, especially since it’s the Saturday AFTER the State of the Union speech.
Bloggers Unite! Wouldn't it be cool if every anti-bush blogger put up a "March on DC to Impeach" banner on their site.
Tons of bloggers will put up blogads for money- advertising "sleeper cell" terrorize america propaganda, will they put up a little 10kb image - impeach the Chimp and Cheney for world peace?

The reasons to Impeach
Now that the Democrats won, it is time to Impeach for such transgressions as the gov't rountinely violating our Constitutional rights.
They violate the 1st Amendment by caging demonstrators and banning books like "America Deceived" from Amazon.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns during Katrina.
They violate the 4th Amendment by conducting warrant-less wiretaps.
They violate the 5th and 6th Amendment by suspending habeas corpus.
They violate the 8th Amendment by torturing.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting 2 illegal wars based on lies and on behalf of a foriegn gov't.
Fix up that, Impeach whomever must be impeached and while you are at it, investigate 9/11 a bit more thoroughly.

This is our edge in the Senate.
His staff just said it was neither a stroke nor a heart attack. Waiting for update.

Vultures
The republicans and their whore media are circling Johnson like vultures, just waiting to tip power in the senate their way. I'm sure their behavior isn't going to make an America who already has a particular distaste for their hate politics like them anymore.
I'd be more worried if the surgery was for a tumor. It is very hard to completely recover from that type of surgery, depending on which part of the brain is operated on. Since the problem was a hemorrhage caused by some congenital vessel problem, I'm more encouraged that he'll recover completely. He's still in intensive care but I believe that anyone who has had brain surgery would be there for a few days.

Yeah, Vultures indeed. Thats my take on the news...
They practically have the guy buried and forgotten already. Lickin their chops over the Gov. appointing one of the annointed to take his place.
Ya never saw them carry on so when Ol Strom had to be fed his pablum.
