In November 2007, Senator Joe Biden warned George Bush he would be impeached if he attacked Iran without Congressional authorization.

Yet Bush continues planning an attack on Iran, and replaced Adm. William Fallon, who opposed an attack, with Gen. David Petraeus, who supports it.

On May 8, 2008, House Judiciary Committee chairman John Conyers wrote a letter to George Bush warning of impeachment if he attacks Iran without Congressional authorization.

Rep. Conyers is asking the rest of Congress to co-sign his letter to Bush so he takes the threat of impeachment seriously. The full text of Conyers' letter to Bush is here.
