Joe Scarborough tweets as JoeNBC. I caught him tweeting Supply Side nonsense and called him on it. It took me just 2 tweets to crush him in debate.

Schmoozer7437 (@JoeNBC) wondering why we are not discussing that raising taxes on the people who are still spending money will hurt the economy even more

joenbc: (@Schmoozer7437) That is a great point. You are taking money out of the pockets of the few people who can still spend it.

bobfertik: The rich spend far less of their income than the poor. Do you know any real economics or just Supply Side nonsense?

joenbc: Not a supply sider here. Just talking about discretionary income. It's not ideology. It is the truth.

bobfertik: Higher earners save more than others. That means less Aggregate Demand and slower economic growth. Better to tax the rich than poor.

joenbc: [crickets]

I hear that he spoke before CPAC this afternoon, but so did "Joe the Plumber"...they seem just a little desperate. Even Jindal and Palin bugged out on the conference. In these difficult times at least we have the republicans for comic relief. I can't tell you how much I liked Jindal's answer to Obama Tuesday night.
