The Heart and Soul of the GOP is Revealed: "How Do We Beat the Bitch?"
While campaigning in South Carolina, one of John McCain's supporters asked the question that sums up the whole Republican attitude towards the 2008 election: "How do we beat the bitch?"
So how did Saint John McCain respond? Did he denounce the vicious slur and stand up for Washington-style "civility"?
Nope, he first tried to contain his laugh, then tried to make a joke of it, and finally burst out laughing. And then he called it "an excellent question." Oh really??
So there we have the Republican campaign in a nutshell - raw, vicious misogyny. And if Saint John McCain will laugh at it, imagine the reaction from 3-marriage Rudy, who betrayed his wife in the Mayor's mansion.
I haven't endorsed in the primaries, but for those who think GOP misogyny is a reason to nominate Obama instead of Clinton, the only thing that would be different is the epithet: "How do we beat the nigger?" And if it's Richardson, "How do we beat the wetback."
And don't think white men are exempt from GOP hate. If it's Edwards, Ann Coulter will ask: "How do we beat the faggot."
The Republican Party is the party that hates everything that is not white, male, Christian, and Republican - and determined to keep America that way.

Granted, they are "champions of the despicable".
But that doesn't set our course. Our task is to study each candidate's platform, inasmuch as we can determine it, then chose from that. Aoid selecting someone because they are the best known. What's well-known today may be negatively known in 6 months. CRITICAL: CAN THIS PERSON HOLD HIS/HER OWN WHEN ATTACKED? CAN THEY RESPOND STRONGLY TO A "SWIFT-BOAT" INITIATIVE? GENERAL PATTON HOLDS THE ANSWER TO SWIFT-BOATING. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK. Candidate will have to avoid getting out-maneuvered on the issues and in attacks: rather must take the initiative to the other side and out-maneuver them. John Edwards is my favorite. A successful trial attorney should do well in the maneuvering department. That will go a long way toward determining who wins.

You know I have never been crazy about Hillary's personality ,and I guess some would say she comes off as kind of Bitchy ? However when you really look at some of her actions as a Mother and a Wife ,in her actions she comes off more as a compassionate Women that loves her Husband and Daughter and knows the importance of keeping her family together .A bitch would have done what most women say they would do if they cauth their husband messing around on them ,leave and carry hatred around in their heart towards the person that hurt them .However instead she showed her true colors and showed that she is smart enough to know that keeping hate for anyone in your soul will only eat away at the person you are and make you a mean negative person ! is going, we find that the Dem candidates have run out of NEW ideas and are now attacking Hillary. The interesting part of this situation is that she shows herself quite capable of standing alone and turning these attacks around and sending them back--in spades.
Health Care: Hillary attempted to change health care almost 16 years ago and was attacked by both Dems and Repugs for doing so. Now all these other wanna-bes are doing the health care trot--forgetting that she has already done some major work in that area.
Out of desperation, Obama and Edwards are attacking Hillary. Only shows how really bankrupt their wish list really is.
Down deep in Hillary must be some sort of 'pay back' reservoir for all the needless attacks she and her family have come through.
She is mostly attacked by indies and greens. Wonder why? The right-wing does hate her and they are continuing their tired old attacks on both Hillary and Bill. Since Chelsea is a flaming success, they don't seem to ever mention that.
As to the recent flap over loaded questions in the audience--not one critic has ever mentioned that the Repugs have been doing that for years. Doubt that? Ask Karl Rove.
Ask George Bush who only makes speeches to people who are not allowed to ask difficult questions.
I think Hillary has shown she has the stuff to be a remarkable president. All these critical guys have been failures of one sort or another...she has never been a failure to this point.
As a liberal Dem, there is no way I would vote for a Republican at this time. And, the more I watch and read about what Hillary is doing, how she handles herself, the more convinced that she should be our candidate.

Clinton is the GOP's best GOTV strategy
We can get mad about Republicans who spout misogynist or racist remarks, or instead, we could GET A CLUE about how the election is likely to go next year. If Sen. Clinton wins the Democratic nomination, she will inspire Republicans to vote as no one else has ever before. Right-wingers don't just dislike her, they DESPISE her! They'll vote in droves to ensure she doesn't win the Presidency. Hilary Clinton against any of their hopefuls is the Republicans' best Get Out the Vote tactic for 2008, even more so than their anti-gay and anti-choice strategies that have spurred their followers to vote in the past.
If we want to win the 2008 presidency and, more importantly, achieve a landslide takeover of Congress, we need a candidate that won’t stir up the passions of hate-mongering Republicans. Even with a war going on and cheating, lying and stealing firmly tied to the Bush Administration, the left wing showing at the polls is dismal. Our side simply doesn’t vote in high enough numbers.
Our best winning strategy in 2008 may be trying to get their side to sit out the election as badly as our side does when it’s frustrated. Let’s stop talking about our top choice for Democratic candidate, hoping that we’ll finally get a woman or a person of color elected as Prez. Instead, let’s put together a team that can truly win, before the Democratic Primary occurs, a team that not only can do the job, but that can actually win against anything the GOP offers up.
