Background

As the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid is playing a crucial role in health reform. He will decide whether the Senate bill includes a "robust public option" or not.

Petition

Dear Senator Reid,

I strongly believe the Senate should include a "Robust Public Option" - also known as "Medicare for Everyone" - in its health reform bill.

Without a "Robust Public Option," health reform will just force us to buy expensive and inadequate insurance from greedy corporations. That would be intolerable.

As the Senate Majority Leader, you have the unique power to make sure the floor version includes a "Robust Public Option."

If you fail, I will support a primary challenge against you next year.
