Please join us in a celebration of Americans Who Tell the Truth, an exhibition of portraits by Robert Shetterly, with a concurrent exhibition by youth in Community Works programs. Opening Reception will feature acclaimed artist Robert Shetterly; California truth tellers such as James Bell, Daniel Ellsberg, Janice Mirikitani, Carlos Munoz, Eva Paterson, Utah Phillips, Cindy Sheehan, Lateefah Simon, and Cecil Williams; and youth presentations. Americans Who Tell the Truth highlights important Americans whose dignity, courage, honesty, generosity, compassion, wisdom, tolerance, belief, and relentless quest for truth have shaped this country. Its inspiring portraits are intended to create a dialogue among citizens of this country about what we value most in a democratic society and the importance of truth telling. Start: 00:00
