Democrats.com operates many email lists to update you with the latest information on topics you care about. Each list has its own subscribe/unsubscribe system; in most cases there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.

Activists: This is our main email list, which goes to everyone who joins our blog community or signs our petitions. We mail 4-6 times per month.

Partners: We are funded largely by paid email ads from progressive candidates, causes, and media. We carefully screen each ad to make sure it is progressive. We mail 2-6 times per month.

Yahoogroups: We began in 2000 with several yahoogroups: dem-daily, dem-weekly, and dem-activist. Since 2004, these lists have rarely been used. We also created yahoogroups for many states and counties, which are moderated by volunteers and accept posts by subscribers. The volume of each of these groups depends on the subscribers.

Blog post subscriptions: Our blog system (Drupal) allows each blog user to "subscribe" to many types of posts (nodes) by clicking "subscribe post" below each node. To review your subscriptions, click "My Account" and then the "Subscriptions" tab at the top. You can subscribe to threads, blogs, categories, content types, and rss feeds. When content is added to any node to which you have subscribed, you will receive an email. The bottom of each email has a link that lets you manage your subscriptions.

Member-to-member emails: We allow local organizers to email activists in their Congressional District by email. You can block such emails from organizers who annoy you.
