Democrats.com led the fight against George W. Bush since 2000, starting with the stolen election in Florida. We organized the first protest against the Iraq War on September 12, 2002, and have never stopped organizing to end it. We began our impeachment campaign shortly after May 1, 2005, when the Downing Street Memos proved the pre-war intelligence was "fixed around the policy" of invading Iraq. We are now leading the fight for a Special Prosecutor for torture, wiretaps and other grave crimes committed by George Bush, Dick Cheney, and other top officials.
We also support the broad progressive agenda of Single Payer Health Care, rapid adoption of green energy to stop global warming, breaking up banks that are "too big to fail," and raising taxes on the richest 1% to reduce budget deficits. At election time, we work to elect progressive Democratic majorities at all levels.
