Alito Lies

We've all seen the video of Justice Samuel Alito shaking his head mouthing "Not True" when President Obama said:
Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests – including foreign corporations – to spend without limit in our elections. Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and I urge Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps correct some of these problems.
So who's telling the truth and who's lying?
John McCain knows a thing or two about campaign finance. Here's what he said on Face The Nation:
"We are going to see now an inundation of special-interest money into political campaigns," McCain warned. "I think that diminishes the influence of average citizens."

What will Alito and his repug sidekicks do next? Churches rights
Since they have no problem giving foreign stockholders the right to control our American elections even though they broke federal voting laws to give this right to them.
Whats to stop them from next declaring that the churches are being denied their right to free speech by allowing churches to contribute unlimited contributions to campaigns? Separation of church and state is no different than corporate and government election control . They seem to feel they have the right to determine the constitution any way they like.
I do not trust them as far as I can throw them.
Grassroots March on Washington
I sent this letter to the following people. Can't we get this grassroots march going?
Dear Senators Leahy, Schumer, Gillibrand, Franken, Congressman Grayson, Scott Murphy,
I am writing to you and several other members of Congress to plead that you enlist the people to act on the decision made by the Supreme Court on the matter of granting constitutional rights to corporations.
I am a physician assistant working in an ER in upstate NY. I am a reasonable person who has supported reasonable and conscionable decisions and consider myself a US citizen from the deepest depths of my heart. I believe in the democratic process.
I was just a tad too young to march on Washington during the Vietnam war or during the civil rights movement so I don't know if I would have felt compelled to do so at that time. But I believe it is time to march now. The grave implication of the Supreme Court Decision can not go unchallenged. We are fighting for our lives and the future of this country that was formed on the foundation of the freedom of the individual, that right being upheld by a government "of the people, by the people, for the people."
I am extremely busy with a full time job, a consultancy, and real estate investments as well as a very healthy volunteer schedule. But I am ready to set aside all of my responsibilities to March on Washington for this important issue. Just tell me when and where.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXX
your letter is great
but marches on washington are extremely hard to organize.
we all need to get active in our Congressional Districts - click the local link at the top and you'll see posts from others in your CD, along with links to all your neighbors.
and we just launched a partnership with Progressive Democrats of America to hold monthly Brown Bag Vigils at the offices of all Representatives so it would be fabulous if you and your neighbors could organize one.
