4,000 Deaths - 435 Town HallsWe just passed another tragic milestone with the 4,000th death of U.S. soldiers in Iraq, while the uncounted death toll of innocent Iraqis climbs beyond 1 million. Yet in April, Congress will vote to give George Bush another $102 billion blank check for Iraq on top of past blank checks for $562 billion - unless we finally persuade our Representatives to Just Say No . One great way to persuade a Representative is to hold a Town Hall Meeting and fill the hall with people who care and are willing to speak passionately. That gets their attention! Democrats.com has 500,000 members, roughly 1,000 in each district. That's more than enough to fill 435 Iraq Town Halls, if just two committed activists in each district will take the lead in organizing one. We've created web tools and assembled useful links to make this easier. Will you help us organize an Iraq Town Hall? Let's not allow the 4,000 deaths of our sons and daughters, our brothers and sisters, to be in vain. Let's not allow the 1 million deaths of innocent Iraqis to be in vain. Let's honor the dead by persuading each of our Representatives to vote against any more funds for the endless occupation of Iraq. Our Iraq Town Halls dovetail with several important new Iraq organizing efforts: Progressive Democrats of America just launched its Healthcare NOT Warfare campaign to bring our troops home from Iraq and use the savings to pass H.R. 676, Rep. John Conyers' bill which guarantees comprehensive publicly-funded, privately-delivered health care for everyone in the U.S. Please sign their petition: Win Without War wants Rep. John Murtha, Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, to provide funding only for the safe and timely redeployment of U.S. troops out of Iraq. Please sign their letter:

We done nothing--we got --9-11
How many of us would they have killed if we had done nothing???? How many american cities wqould have been bombed if we had done nothing???
What we should have done ---bombed Saudis arabia out of existance...They are the cause of all the worlds problems today
I hate Bush as much as the bext guy, but--going into the middle of all this was the right thing, maybe not the perfect thing.....it is just too bad that Bush elected to let the saudis get away with thier dastardly deeds..Maybe he gained something from it??? Remember his secret meeting with them afyer 9-11 at his ranch??? then all the Bin Ladins escaped from America...To this day the saudis have not given up bin ladin..
The sorry disgrace we have for a president is too bad--he makes our service men to serve tour in that hell home called Iraq...That is unacceptable--
Bush is a monster...
Conservatives go after DOLLARS not Terrorists.
No Democrat would have done "nothing".
We were at war. It should have been prosecuted in Afghanistan to gain us Bin Laden's head with a rapid return to peace and U.S. Economic Power.
Instead Conservatives went for the $$$$$.
